This is Our combination oil pan (7 quart capacity)and motor mount system dubbed "Strategic Reserve" by Pete Blackwell, The Prototype builder extrodinaire. So far it has performed perfectly on our test car. We are planning on producing some soon. We are currently working on some special tooling. Here is the only working prototype

Another view of the welding. The sides are cut in circles to increase the welding area to make the arms stronger. The internal brace is retained. The added material is "3/16 steel. The top and bottom portions are overlapped about "3/4.
This is a 2.2 turbo we completed a few months ago. We completly moved the turbo off to the left side right off the left side valve cover. This also involved moving the "black box" to the right side of the engine compartment to escape the heat. Also notice the large "cold intake" aluminuim tube fromt the air filter (which is in front of the right side taillight) to the turbo on the left. The turbo is covered with an alumium heat shield.
